Inductive Target


Targets mark moving parts, so their position can be sensed with resonant inductive technology. They are inductively coupled to a sensor, so no electrical or mechanical contact is required.

Inside targets there is an inductor connected to a capacitor, forming a resonant circuit.


CambridgeIC's Precision Rotary Targets are for use with Precision Rotary Sensors.

CambridgeIC's 11mm E-Core Target is optimised for use with Precision Linear Sensors.

CambridgeIC's standard target works with most linear and rotary basic sensors.


Founded in 2007, CambridgeIC has developed single chip processors and a set of standard sensor designs and integration tools. These help customers embed resonant inductive sensing inside their products, by drawing on modular and well proven components.
